WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

BARD Mobile is a service provided by the National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled (NLS). NLS offers free audio and braille reading materials to residents of the United States and American citizens living abroad who are unable to read regular print. If you have a visual impairment, whether it is temporary or permanent, or if you have a physical or reading disability that prevents you from handling or reading printed materials, you may be eligible for this program. HOW DO I GET STARTED?

BARD Mobile is accessible to eligible users who have enrolled in the National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled (NLS) at the Library of Congress. To enroll, please call 1-888-NLS-READ (1-888-657-7323) and follow the instructions to locate your state.
